Mamleshwar Temple is a 10th-century Shiva temple in Karsog Valley, notable for stone carving work that's held up remarkably well across roughly a thousand years. At 1,400m, it's the cultural anchor of the valley — most travelers who make it to Karsog come specifically to see this temple. Best time is March–June or September–November. Its age and craftsmanship put it on par architecturally with better-known Himachal temples, but Karsog's general obscurity as a destination means Mamleshwar sees a fraction of the footfall — worth the trip for anyone with a genuine interest in Himachal's temple architecture.
