1. About PahariPath
PahariPath is a discovery and booking marketplace connecting travellers with independent local hosts across Himachal Pradesh. We are an intermediary platform — the actual accommodation contract is between you and the host, not with PahariPath.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking or register as a host on PahariPath.
3. Bookings & payment
Bookings are confirmed once payment is completed via Razorpay and the host has been notified. Prices shown include a 5% GST component, applied at checkout. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before check-in are eligible for a free cancellation; cancellation terms within 48 hours of check-in are at the host's discretion — contact the host directly via the number provided in your booking confirmation.
4. Carbon offset contributions
Carbon offset amounts added at checkout are voluntary contributions passed toward tree-planting initiatives via our conservation partner. They are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
5. Eco Permits
Eco Permits for sensitive zones (e.g. Spiti, Parvati, Pin Valley) are date-specific, non-transferable, and non-refundable once issued. 70% of the permit fee is directed to local conservation efforts.
6. PAHADI Traveller Points
PAHADI points, tiers, and badges are a loyalty and recognition system with no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or sold. We may adjust the points system, thresholds, or rewards at any time.
7. Crowd data & forecasts
Live crowd levels, weekly forecasts, and weather/road-safety guidance are estimates based on historical patterns, seasonal data, and host-submitted updates. They are indicative only, not a guarantee of actual conditions — always verify road and weather conditions independently before travelling to remote or high-altitude areas.
8. Community-submitted content
Community Pins, location corrections, and reviews are user-submitted and reviewed by our team before appearing publicly. By submitting content, you grant PahariPath a non-exclusive right to display it on the platform. We may edit, reject, or remove submissions at our discretion.
9. Host responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, honoring confirmed bookings, complying with applicable local, state, and tax regulations (including any Himachal Pradesh tourism/homestay registration requirements), and maintaining safe accommodations.
10. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false information, attempt to circumvent bookings or payments outside the platform in bad faith, or engage in behavior that endangers hosts, guests, wildlife, or protected areas.
11. Limitation of liability
PahariPath facilitates bookings but is not liable for cancellations by hosts, weather conditions, road closures, natural disasters, or any loss, injury, or damage arising during your travel. Bookings in high-altitude or environmentally sensitive areas carry inherent risk — travel at your own discretion and judgment.
12. Governing law

13. Changes to these terms
