Rajgundha is a high-altitude meadow village above Bir that almost no one outside serious trekking circles has heard of. At 2,800m, reaching it means a genuinely tough trek — there's no easy road access — which is precisely why it's stayed silent while Bir below has become a paragliding hub. Best time is May–June or September–October. The reward for the climb is open meadow, mountain views, and a small village mostly untouched by the tourism economy that's transformed Bir.
